BRADENTON, FL — A motorcycle-versus-car crash on 15th Street East Wednesday afternoon led to the death of a 63-year-old Bradenton man.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Michael Thomas Pelletier was heading north on 15th Street East on a motorcycle around 1:49 p.m. Jan. 4. Pelletier was following behind a PT Cruiser driven by Erik Guendulain-Hernandez, 18, of Bradenton.

Troopers say Pelletier failed to notice the PT Cruiser strop for traffic near the intersection with 37th Street East. Pelletier’s motorcycle struck the rear of the car, a highway patrol report said.
