A man wanted in connection with a Jan. 20 fatal shooting in Bradenton has been arrested in Ohio, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office reported Tuesday.
Charles Jones, 29, was arrested Monday night in the Cincinnati area by U.S. Marshals, according to a news release. He will be brought back to Manatee County to face charges of felony murder and armed robbery.
Detectives say Jones and two other suspects approached two other men sitting in a carport outside a home in the 4200 block of 24th Street West around 10 p.m. Jan. 20. The three suspects were dressed in black with masks covering their faces, investigators said, and at least two of them were armed.
