Bradenton Pizza Delivery Driver Robbed
A man delivering pizzas in Bradenton Tuesday night was robbed outside a home on 5th Street Court East.
BRADENTON, FL — The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office is on the lookout for a suspect its deputies say robbed a 45-year-old pizza delivery man Tuesday night.
According to the agency, the pizza delivery man had just knocked on the door of a home in the 3200 block of 5th Street Court East just before 10 p.m. Jan. 17 when he was approached from behind. The person who approached demanded the delivery driver’s cash.
Deputies say the delivery man, who Patch is not naming, removed items from his pockets and dropped them to the ground. The robber picked up the cash, an email from the sheriff’s office said, and then fled on foot.

Deputies searched the area, but were unable to find the person. The driver was not injured, the agency noted.
