Bradenton Police Search for Witnesses in Car Crash
The Dec. 18 crash at Manatee Avenue east and 20th Street East left one person dead and several injured.

The Bradenton Police Department's Traffic Homicide Investigator is asking that anyone who witnessed a two vehicle crash on Dec. 18 at Manatee Avenue East and 20th Street East contact him.
The crash, which left one person dead and several injured, is under investigation. Several vehicles stopped near the crash that happened at about 8:45 p.m. and tried to help the victims. Once the police arrived several of those people left the scene without providing their names to the Bradenton Police officers who responded.

One of the vehicles involved in the accident was a white 2000 Mazda MPV minivan and the other vehicle was a dark blue 2007 Ford Focus. Bradenton Fire and Rescue responded to the scene along with several Manatee County EMS ambulances and supervisors. The crash victims were taken to Manatee Memorial Hospital and Blake Medical Trauma Center in Bradenton.
