Bradenton 12-year-old wins Luck Dogs challenge.

The Downtown Bradenton Farmer's Market kicked off its season today and it brought out both people and pippies dressed in pink.

The kick-off for Breat Cancer Awareness month coincided with the opening of the farmer's market 2011-12 season. At its booth, Realize Bradenton sold tickets for the  ‘Save the Hooters’ Scooter chance drawing.

Emily Ellrick, 12, took first place in the Lucky Dogs Breast Cancer Awareness contest for wearing the most pink at the farmer's market. She was dressed from head to toe in breast cancer awareness apparel.
