Child Rapist Thought To Be In Manatee County: FL Sheriff
A man wanted for the sexual battery of a child in Martin County is believed to be in the Bradenton area, the sheriff's office said.

MARTIN COUNTY, FL — Detectives are asking for public help in finding an accused child rapist, the Martin County Sheriff’s Office wrote in a Facebook post.
Jesus Tamanis-Peralta, 37, who is wanted for the sexual battery of a child, is believed to be in Manatee County.
Tamanis-Peralta, a Mexican who is undocumented, was living in Martin County when he left the area because he knew law enforcement was looking for him, the sheriff’s office said.

He was last seen Thursday in Bradenton “and is on the move in (an) attempt to evade capture,” the agency said.
The suspect has a tattoo with an Old English-style letter “B” on his upper right arm.

Anyone with information about Tamanis-Peralta or his acquaintances is asked to contact the Martin County Sheriff’s Office at 772-220-7000 or call 911. There is an active warrant for his arrest.
