Christmas Tree Giveaway Today for Families in Need

The Christmas tree lot to benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs will offer free Christmas trees today with the help of Whitney Bank.

Christmas trees are sure sign Christmas is coming. Families gather around the tree to decorate them with handmade ornaments, or ornamets passed down by families or in ways that show off their style as well as their Christmas spirit. Christmas presents go under the tree and Santa can find his way through a house by the Christmas tree lights.

But a lot of families can't afford a tree. This year Whitney Bank and the are working together to make sure that a few more families will get a tree.

Families who can't afford a Christmas Tree this year, can get one free of charge today at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Manatee Counties Christmas Tree lot located at 4200 Manatee Avenue west in the Westgate Shopping Center. The trees will be available starting at 9 a.m. and will be given away until they are all gone. The lot will close at 5 p.m.
