Circle K Bandit Strikes 2 Convenience Stores In Manatee County
A Circle K bandit has struck two of the convenience stores in the past week.

BRADENTON, FL — A Circle K bandit has struck two of the convenience stores in the past week and the Manatee County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding him.
A spokeswoman for the Manattee County Sheriff's Office said the latest robbery occurred around 2:25 p.m. on Sunday at the Circle K located at 904 30th Ave E. The same man is suspected in the July 14 robbery of the Circle K located at 2413 U.S. 301 N in Ellenton.
The most recent robbery occurred when the man entered the checkout line after walking around the store.

"As the cashier opened the cash register drawer, the suspect reached over and started grabbing at cash," said the spokeswoman. "The cashier tried to stop him, but was unable. During the struggle, the suspect grabbed the arm of the cashier."
The man was described as Hispanic, approximately 240 pounds, 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall and approximately 35 years of age. He was wearing a white long-sleeve T-shirt, tan shorts, and black shoes.

He was last seen on foot heading south on 9th St E., the spokeswoman added.
