Commissioner Is a June Bride – Not a Candidate in November
A newlywed commissioner says 'I don't' to a run for re-election.

Bradenton Beach Commissioner Gay Breuler announced that she will not run for re-election in November, after recently getting married.
The commissioner, who was married June 16, said:
“My priorities are different now, and I won’t always be able to be in Bradenton Beach,” the Islander newspaper reported.

Breuler was first elected in Ward 1 in November 2009.
In other Bradenton Beach business, the Eighth Street Dock has been repaired, after residents paid for the project. The city will pay for landscaping, which will cost up to $500.
