Bradenton Bake Sale to Help End Childhood Hunger
Weekend bake sale in Bradenton is part of the Great American Bake Sale designed to end childhood hunger
bakery is joining a national effort to fight childhood hunger in America by hosting a bake sale on Saturday with all of the proceeds going to Share Our Strength, which works to hungry children with nutritious food where they live, learn and play.
This year nearly 1 in 4 children across the country struggles with hunger. That’s more than 17 million kids. Funds raised through Bonni Bakes Great American Bake Sale will be used to support Share Our Strength’s efforts to end childhood hunger across the country.
, 930 12th Street West, will hold the bake sale Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at their location in The Village of the Arts.
Bonni Bakes team "Could Cupcakes be the Cure?" will sell cookies, cupcakes, brownies, cakes, candy, bread, muffins, pizza and Cookie-in-a-Jar Gifts. The bakery will also hold a raffle, featuring items from MOSI, Mote Marine Lab, , House and Moore’s Stonecrab Restaurant. Tickets will be on sale 2 for $5 the day of the event.

There will also be free giveaways from for the first 100 customers and Discount Coupons from Climate Design Air Conditioning for the first 300 customers.
Share our Strength's Great American Bake sale is a national effort that encourages people or groups to host bake sales in their communities to support the "No Kid Hungry Campaign," Share Our Strength’s effort to end childhood hunger in America by 2015.
