A K-9 unit from the sheriff's department tracked the suspect to Gardenwalk apartments, but could not locate him.

Deputies are searching for a shotgun-wielding man who robbed a Bradenton 7-Eleven on Saturday night of an undisclosed amount of cash.
The man came into 7-Eleven at 2604 53rd Ave. W. carrying a shotgun, according to a Manatee County Sheriff's Office report. He pointed the weapon at the manager and said "gimmie the money," the report states. The manager opened the register, and the gunman took cash from both registers and then demanded to know where the cigarettes were.
The manager opened the lower cabinet, and the suspect took several cartoons of cigarettes before heading out the door, according to the report.
