K9 Unit Tracks Down Domestic Disturbance Suspect
An argument between a man and woman resulted in a knife being pulled and the man being tracked into a field behind a home in Bradenton.

Manatee County Sheriff's officers responded to an aggravated domestic battery call early Sunday morning that resulted in a man being tracked down by K9 units and a woman with a knife wound.
According to the police report, sheriff's officers arrived at 3116 11th St. Ct. E. just after midnight, where 50-year-old Henry Howard had been engaged in a dispute with a woman inside the home.
During the argument Howard punched the victim, whose name is being withheld, in the face and cut her on the finger with a kitchen knife, according to the report.

Prior to the MCS officers' arrival, Howard fled the residence.
A K9 unit arrived on scene and tracked Howard to a field behind the house where he was found hiding in tall grass by the dog.

According to the police report, the victim sustained a minor laceration and was treated on scene by EMS.
