Fatal Shooting Reported in Manatee County
BREAKING: Police believe the Saturday evening shooting was the result of road rage.
The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office is on the scene of a fatal shooting that occurred in Parrish Saturday evening.
The shooting, believed to be the result of road rage, occurred at U.S. Route 301 and Buckeye Road. It's unclear when exactly it occurred, but the sheriff's office tweeted that detectives were investigating at 6:17 p.m.
Buckeye Road is closed from Carter Road to Route 301. No further information has been released at this time.
