FHP Plans Safety Detail In Bradenton

BRADENTON, FL — Florida Highway Patrol will be out along Bayshore Gardens Parkway and U.S. 41 on Thursday morning to conduct Operation Pedestrian Education and Developing Safety.

The agency's Lt. Gregory S. Bueno said the detail will be in place between 7:30 am and 9:30 a.m.

"The purpose of this detail is to decrease the amount of injuries and deaths through a series of education and enforcement details in areas prone to pedestrian and bicyclist involved crashes," said Bueno.
