Forget-Me-Not, Inc. Partners with Manatee County Animal Services for 'Clear the Shelter'

The adoption event will be held Friday, Sept. 16 through Saturday, Sept. 17 at two locations.

Forget-Me- Not, a 501c3 animal rescue, is partnering with MCAS for a “Clear the Shelter” adoption event. The partnership of these two organizations is inspired by the Community Foundation of Sarasota’s 24-hour 2016 Giving Challenge.

Debbie Woosley, president of Forget-Me-Not, stated, “The Giving Challenge is a great opportunity for us to work together with MCAS and debunk the myths surrounding pit bull-like dogs. MCAS is currently at capacity, and we wish to do our part to help find loving homes for the shelter pets.”
