Four Armed Men Break Into Home Where Woman and Her Baby are Sleeping

Four armed men broke into a woman's east Bradenton home early Monday morning while she was there asleep with her infant, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

The men demanded money from the woman and ransacked her house in the 6200 block of 11th Street East. Another man, Jeremy Sorey, interrupted the robbery. He was hit on the back of the head before the four men fled, the sheriff's office said in a news release.

The woman called 911, and deputies searched the area. The investigation is continuing.
