When/Where: Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ArtCenter Manatee, 209 9th Street West.

Why go: An exhibit presenting the spontaneous and joyful work created by our KidsArt summer camp students, ages four to fifteen. Students and teachers work together each session to select a piece for the exhibit. Discover the colorful work of KidsArt camp students in pottery, photography, jewelry design, drawing and painting.
Pricing: $5 donation.
When/Where: Saturday at 7 p.m. as the Marauders go against the Jupiter Hammerheads. The event is at and is sponsored by Florida Cancer Specialists and Research Institute and Blake Medical Center.
Why go: The Marauders will wear specialty pink jerseys that night, auctioned off during the game and awarded to the winning fans off the players’ backs on the field post game. The auction will benefit Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, an initiative of the American Cancer Society. There will also be a pink bra contest and breast cancer survivors are invited to march on the warning track at 6:30pm pregame. Pricing: Tickets are $7 for adults, $6 for seniors and $5 for kids 12 and younger. Buy them online or at the McKechnie box office.
When/Where: Saturday, from 11 am until 4 pm. at , 930 12th Street West, in The Village of the Arts.
Why go: This year nearly 1 in 4 children across the country struggles with hunger. That’s more than 17 million kids. Funds raised through Bonni Bakes Great American Bake Sale will be used to support Share Our Strength’s efforts to end childhood hunger across the country.
Pricing: Depends on bake items you buy. Raffle tickets 2 for $5.
