Jogger Severely Beaten at Bradenton Park: Police

The 20-year-old man was beaten into unconsciousness. Bradenton Police are investigating the case.

Three attackers punched and kicked a 20-year-old jogger into unconsciousness at G.T. Bray Park, as they shouted verbal insults, according to the Bradenton Police Department.

Bradenton.com reports that the victim, who is from Holmes Beach, had been jogging at 5502 33rd Ave. Drive W., when he stopped to adjust his ear buds.

ABC News, which interviewed the victim, identified him as Tyler Robinson.

The three approached the jogger and were verbally abusive. A scuffle ensued. Police said that the three knocked him down, and then he was beaten and kicked into unconsciousness. The three then fled the area. 

The man awoke and managed to bicycle to his parents' home. He was taken to Blake Medical Center for treatment of severe facial injuries, including a broken cheek bone.
