Home Invasion Robbery Thwarted When Victim Runs From Home
Deputies are searching for two gunmen. Both were wearing masks and dressed all in black.

Deputies are searching for two masked gunmen who broke into a woman's home on Lake Hill Court just after midnight Wednesday, according to a Manatee County Sheriff's Office report.
The victim was alone at home when her front door was kicked in. The masked men were dressed all in black, were armed with guns and demanded that the victim give them "the money." Instead, she ran.
After the victim escaped, the suspects took off. It is not clear whether they fled on foot or in a vehicle. Neighbors reported that they heard gunshots, but the sheriffs office has not confirmed that the suspects fired their weapons. The sheriff's office helicopter, K-9 units, and multiple deputies searched the area but did not find the suspects.
