Illegal Gambling Arcade Shut Down In Bradenton: Manatee County Sheriff
55 full-size arcade-style video slot machines and more than $160K were seized from a gambling arcade in Bradenton, the Manatee sheriff said.

BRADENTON, FL — Good Times Arcade at 105 Cortez Road West in Bradenton was shut down Thursday by detectives as part of an ongoing investigation into the operation of illegal gambling businesses in Manatee County.
After receiving a tip and conducting two undercover visits to confirm that there were electronic slot/gaming machines there, Special Investigations detectives served a search warrant at Good Times Arcade, the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
They immediately closed the business and confiscated equipment and cash.

Investigators seized 55 full-size arcade-style video slot machines, 27 computers and other electronic equipment used for illegal gaming, as well as more than $160,000 in illegal proceeds, the sheriff’s office said.

None of the customers or employees at the arcade were arrested, though the business owner is under investigation and charges are pending.
Detectives warned Good Times’ management and issued a cease-and-desist letter ahead of the business being raided, the sheriff’s office said.
