Jumping in the Deep End: New Editor Comes to Bradenton Patch

I am Toni Whitt and I am the new local editor for Bradenton Patch. I feel like I am jumping in the deep end by taking over editing Bradenton Patch from Jason Bartolone.

Jason has done a teriffic job of building this online community and I hope to keep building on what he started.

I have lived in Bradenton for more than 10 years now and for most of that time I have been either editing and planning news pages or writing news about Bradenton.

Local news has always been my mainstay. I enjoy community and hearing from local people. And that is one of the things that attracted me to Patch. 

Patch already has a vibrant local online community and I hope to help make that community get even larger by covering news that is of interest to you. To do that well, I want to hear from you.
