How do you know the teacher?

My daughter

What does this person teach?

Special education

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

Kim has been teaching for 9 years and has always given her all. She always has a smile and a kind word for all her students and is dedicated to her craft. Even when not in school she spends time with my 4-year-old granddaughter preparing her for her upcoming prekindergarten class. Kim loves what she does and has recently completed her master's degree in educational leadership. I am proud of the accomplishments and achievements she has made not because she is my daughter, but because of the kind and caring person she has become, and I feel she deserves this recognition.
