Les Miserables, Music on the Porch and More Weekend Events in Bradenton
Looking for fun weekend events in and around Bradenton? Look no further.

Head to Cortez Saturday for an afternoon of music at the Florida Maritime Museum. Listen to the music or join the open jam session. The concert is at the historic Burton store. On weekends people would play music on the porch after fishing. The jam sessions are held from noon until 4 p.m., the second Saturday of the month, at 4415 119th St. West in Cortez.
The Manatee Players 2013-14 season opens Aug. 8 with the musical 'Les Miserables,' which is based on Victor Hugo's novel set in 19th-century France.
