Man Accused Of Slaying Mother's Boyfriend In Bradenton
A 23-year-old man has been accused of killing his mother's boyfriend during a confrontation in Bradenton.

BRADENTON, FL — A 23-year-0ld County man has been accused of killing his mother's boyfriend during a confrontation Tuesday night in Bradenton.
Tevin Hickson-Johnson was arrested in connection with the death of 54-year-old Wallace Stewart, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office. The shooting occurred around 8:05 p.m. at the home of Hickson-Johnson's mother in the 200 block of 31st Ave E Side B.
"During the argument, Tevin produced a firearm and shot Wallace in the torso," according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office. "Tevin immediately fled the scene and Tevin’s mother transported Wallace to Manatee Memorial Hospital. He was later airlifted to Blake Medical Center with life-threatening injuries."

The sheriff's office said Wallace was pronounced dead at 10:23 p.m.
"Tevin Hickson-Johnson who is currently on felony probation, was located and charged with second-degree murder, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and violation of parole," the sheriff's office said.
