Man Found Injured In West Bradenton Dies: Police
A man was found with a traumatic brain injury from an unknown cause in a West Bradenton neighborhood early Oct. 30, police said.

BRADENTON, FL — Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man who was found injured in a West Bradenton neighborhood in the early morning hours of Oct. 30, according to a Bradenton Police Department news release.
Sherrone Jackson, 27, a resident of Sarasota County, was dropped off by a ride-share service
near the intersection of 68th Street W and 12th Avenue W. around 10:45 p.m. on Oct. 29.
Jackson intended to pick up a spare key left in the mailbox of a nearby home and return to Sarasota County using another ride-share, the sheriff’s office said. Information provided to detectives indicates that he was still waiting for the ride-share at 11:55 p.m.

At 1:45 a.m., a passerby found Jackson unconscious near the intersection. Doctors determined
Jackson sustained a traumatic brain injury, but the cause is unknown, investigators said.
Jackson, who never regained consciousness, died from his injuries on Wednesday.

At the time of his injury, Jackson wore black Nike shorts, a white tank top, black slide sandals and a red trucker-style hat with "Badlands" written on the front.
