Manatee County Buildings Evacuated Over Bomb Threat

BRADENTON, FL — The Manatee County Historic Courthouse, Judicial Center and Manatee County Administration building were all evacuated for a time Monday following a bomb threat, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

The agency confirmed on social media that the bomb threat was made anonymously. Employees were later permitted to return to their offices after a sweep of the buildings.

"Deputies found nothing suspicious," the sheriff's office said. "Employees are being allowed to return to work inside the Historic Courthouse, Judicial Center and County Administration Building. "
