Manatee County Fair Brings Out the Talent

A talent show Saturday night capped off the final week of the fair. Today is the final day of the fair.

A talent show offering $1,000 in prize money for the first place winner capped off Saturday night at the fair. Morgan Krikke took first place and the prize for performing a Mylie Cyrus tune.

Del Couch of Couch Music and Howling Dog Studios sponsored the talent show which presented 10 finalists on stage Saturday night.

Judges included  Kenny Crowley of the Billy Rice Band, Cyndee Boelkins, manager for Alabama's Jeff Cook and Terry Longpre.

Nichole Wishon took second place for her rendition of "Over the Rainbow" and Peter Pinock took third for his Hip Hop dance routine.
