Manatee Small Business Of The Year: 31 Finalists Named
The Manatee Chamber of Commerce has announced 31 finalists for its Small Business of the Year awards.
BRADENTON, FL — The Manatee Chamber of Commerce has announced the 2017 finalists for its 38th annual Manatee Small Business of the Year Awards. The 31 finalists were selected from 173 nominations made by community members across the county.
The chamber intends to honor the small businesses and nonprofit organizations that have been nominated during an awards luncheon on Aug. 11. The event will take place at the Fete Ballroom in the Polo Grill, 10670 Boardwalk Loop, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

“This event is a great opportunity to network with business and community leaders in our area,” the chamber said in announcing the finalists.
Small businesses and nonprofit organizations are nominated by community members for such things as demonstrating “stellar customer service,” having dedicated employees and showing support for the community.
