Manatee Tea Party to Bring Republican Presidential Hopeful to Mixon Fruit Farms

Herman Cain will answer residents' questions Monday during a campaign stop. What would you ask the candidate?

Manatee Tea Party and Mixon Fruit Farms will host presidential hopeful Herman Cain on a campaign stop on Monday from noon to 2 p.m. Cain has said that he wants to meet the voters and answer their questions about whatever is on their minds.

Still Cain has been focusing on his 9-9-9 plan to improve the economy. That plan is based on:

• A 9% corporate flat tax. Businesses would deduct purchases from other businesses and all capital investment. The resulting gross income is taxed at 9%.

Cain says that the measures would free up capital, spur production, and incentivize risk-taking, which would fuel the economy and create jobs.

Monday's session is designed to be an open question and answer forum. What would you ask Cain?
