Masked Gunman Mugs Pedestrian

A masked gunman robbed a pedestrian of his personal belongings near Cortez Road late Monday night, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

According to deputies, the suspect stopped his vehicle in front of the man to block his passage. The robbery occurred at 11:40 p.m. on the 11300 block of Cortez Road.

The suspect pointed a gun at the victim and took his belongings. He then fled the scene in his vehicle.
