Medical Marijuana Dispensary Opens In Bradenton On Tuesday

BRADENTON, FL - The area’s first medical marijuana dispensary opens Tuesday in Bradenton. The Trulieve store is located at the corner of 14th Street and 11th Avenue and is the company’s 10th dispensary in Florida. Last year, Florida voters legalized medical marijuana.

Trulieve, one of only a few companies in Florida authorized to grow marijuana and sell cannabis products, opened a dispensary in St. Petersburg in July. The shop is located at 8435 Fourth St. N.

At the Bradenton store, patients get 25 percent off their order all day, according to the company’s Facebook page. The grand opening event begins at 10 a.m.

This location offers delivery services to Manatee, Sarasota, Charlotte, DeSoto, Glades, Highlands, Hillsborough, Lee and Pinellas counties.

The company’s website says it strives “to bring you the relief you need in a product you can trust. Our plants are hand-grown in an environment specially designed to reduce unwanted chemicals and pests, keeping the process as natural as possible at every turn.”
