Missing 34-Year-Old Woman In Manatee County

LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL -- A 34-year-old woman who is struggling with addiction was reported missing in Manatee County. Jenna L. Williams was last seen on Thursday at University Parkway and I-75, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

"Jenna has problems with addiction and has made threats to harm herself in the past," said the sheriff's office.

On Thursday, the woman got out of a car at a red light as her husband was driving her to the Lakewood Ranch Medical Center for alcohol abuse treatment.

"Jenna got out of the car and started walking westbound on University Parkway," the sheriff's office explained. "Prior to that, she told her husband, 'I can’t keep doing this' and 'I don’t want to be alive.'"

Williams was last seen wearing blue jeans and a dark gray shirt with black tennis shoes.
