Missing Bradenton 12-Year-Old Found, Returns Home

The girl had gone missing from her 66th Street East home on Thursday evening after becoming upset, authorities said. She was located a day later.

A 12-year-old Bradenton girl who was reported missing Thursday was found and returned home a day later, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office reports.

Rosa Hernandez had left her home in the 600 block of 66th Street East around 6:30 p.m. Thursday after becoming upset, a sheriff's office spokesperson said.

Authorities had searched the Pride Park area where she normally hangs out but were initially unable to find her.
