Motorcyclist In Critical Condition After Hit-And-Run Crash
A 55-year-old woman was in critical condition Saturday after her motorcycle was struck by a hit-and-run driver Friday night.

BRADENTON, FL — A 55-year-old woman was in critical condition Saturday after her motorcycle was struck by a hit-and-run driver Friday night.
A Florida Highway Patrol spokesman said troopers were searching for the driver of a white Chevrolet van in connection with the crash. The FHP spokesman said the driver was male but had no further description.
The crash occurred at 7:32 p.m. along State Road 70 outside the Wells Fargo Bank at 404 53rd Avenue West.

The van suffered front-end damage in the crash, according to the spokesperson, who said the van stopped briefly then fled through the Wells Fargo parking lot.
The driver of the motorcycle was not immediately identified pending notification of her next of kin. She was taken to Blake Medical Center.
