Motorcyclist Dies In Manatee County Crash: FL Highway Patrol
A motorcyclist was killed and two people were seriously injured in a Saturday crash on U.S. 41 in Manatee County, FL Highway Patrol said.
MANATEE COUNTY, FL — A motorcyclist was killed and two people were seriously injured in a Saturday night crash in Manatee County, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.
A car driven by an 81-year-old Bradenton man was heading north on U.S. 41 when he turned left onto Florida Boulevard in front of the approaching motorcycle just after 9 p.m.
As the car turned, the motorcyclist, a 50-year-old Arizona man, crashed into its right side, FHP said.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene and his passenger, a 56-year-old North Port woman, was seriously injured. She was brought to a local hospital.
The car’s driver, an 81-year-old Bradenton woman, suffered minor injuries in the crash, while her passenger, an 86-year-old Bradenton man was seriously injured, FHP said.
