Motorcyclist Killed In Manatee County Crash: FL Highway Patrol

MANATEE COUNTY, FL — A motorcyclist was killed Monday morning in a Manatee County crash, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.

A van stopped in the left turn lane of State Road 70 turned onto Manor Hill Lane East into the path of the motorcyclist about 4:45 a.m., FHP said.

The motorcyclist, a 20-year-old Palmetto man, was brought to a local hospital and later pronounced dead.

The van’s driver, a 42-year-old Parrish man, was uninjured in the crash, FHP said.
