OK Man Killed In Manatee County Crash: FL Highway Patrol
The driver lost control of his car and hit a fence and line of trees on U.S. 301 Monday morning, Florida Highway Patrol said.
ELLENTON, FL — A 26-year-old Oklahoma man was killed in a single-car crash in Manatee County Monday morning, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.
While traveling north in the outside lane of U.S. 301 at 9th Street E. around 9:30 a.m., he lost control of his car at a curve in the road.
He drove off the road into the east shoulder, where he hit a fence and line of trees, FHP said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by Manatee County EMS.
