Pirates Announce Ticket Prices for 2017 Spring Training

BRADENTON, FL – While Spring Training is still four months away, the Pittsburgh Pirates are making plans for their annual return trip to Bradenton.

The Pirates will play host to 18 home games at McKechnie Field during their 32-game 2017 Grapefruit League campaign. Pittsburgh will host a split-squad game against the Baltimore Orioles on Saturday, Feb. 25 at 1:05 p.m. to start their Spring Training schedule.

This is the 49th consecutive year the Pittsburgh Pirates will play their Spring Training home games at McKechnie Field, located at 1611 Ninth St W. in Bradenton. The Pirates recently announced their ticket prices for their 2017 Grapefruit League season along with their full Spring Training schedule.

Season Tickets

Pirates Spring Training Season Tickets are scheduled to go on sale Monday, Nov. 28. Season ticket prices are:

1. Infield Box (Box 1-14): $455
2. Infield Reserve: $455
3. Baseline Box (Box 15-22): $401
4. Grandstand: $239
5. Left Field Bleachers: $239

The tickets include every game at McKechine Field, including the game against the Dominican Republic.

Season ticket packages are also available for the 4Topps tables located on the McKechnie Field Boardwalk. Packages for the area are $3,200 for four seats and include $900 in Bucs Bucks per table, which can be used on ballpark concessions. Each table also includes a company logo, if applicable, at no additional cost.

Current season ticket members will receive their renewal information beginning on Tuesday, Nov. 15 and will have until Friday, Jan. 13 to renew their same seats for the 2017 season.

Pirates Spring Training season ticket members will receive a complimentary ticket to the Bradenton Marauders opening night game on Saturday, April 8 against the Charlotte Stone Crabs. The Marauders, the Pirates’ Florida State League affiliate, play a 70-game home schedule at McKechnie Field.

Weekend Package

The Pirates will offer a five-game Weekend Package during the 2017 Spring Training schedule, which will also go on sale Monday, Nov. 28. The package includes tickets to all five weekend home games. Opponents in the package include the Baltimore Orioles, Boston Red Sox, Minnesota Twins, Toronto Blue Jays and Detroit Tigers. The prices are:

• Infield Box (1-14): $140
• Infield Reserve: $140
• Baseline Box (15-22): $120
• Grandstand: $85
• Left Field Bleachers: $85

Current Weekend Package holders can renew their packages beginning Tuesday, Nov. 15 and will have until Friday, Jan. 13 to renew their same seats for the 2017 season.

Group tickets

New group ticket reservations can be made starting Monday, Nov. 28. Returning group ticket accounts from 2016 are able to purchase in advance beginning Tuesday, Nov. 15.

Groups of 15 or more are able to reserve tickets in preferred seating areas before they go on sale to individual buyers for the best opportunity to secure seats together. Other benefits include personalized service from a team representative, in-game welcome announcement over the PA system and the ability to earn in-park experiences.

Early-Bird Pre-Sale Opportunity

Online-only Early Bird pre-sale individual tickets will go on sale from Wednesday, Jan. 18 to Thursday, Jan. 19 before tickets are open for purchase to the general public. Early Bird pricing is different than regular single game pricing and is an alternative purchase for fans who want to be guaranteed access to the best seats to high-demand games. Prior to Early Bird pre-sale, a separate pre-sale will take place for Pirates’ season ticket members from Monday, Jan. 16 to Tuesday, Jan. 17 at regular individual game prices.

Individual game tickets

Individual Spring training game tickets will go on sale Saturday, Jan. 21 at 10 a.m. at the McKechnie Field Box Office, online at pirates.com/springtraining or by calling (877) 893-2827. Individual game tickets will have advance sale pricing and day-of-game pricing.

• Infield Box (1-14): $28, $31 day of game
• Infield Reserve: $28, $31 day of game
• Baseline Box (15-22): $24, $27 day of game
• Grandstand: $17, $20 day of game
• Left Field Bleachers: $17, $20 day of game
• Standing Room: $15*
