Bradenton Police say that Dunlap, 24, had smoked marijuana last Sunday morning in his home in the 4500 block of 47th Street West. At the time he changed the filter in his marijuana pipe.

Johnson, 24, the child's mother had put the baby down on the couch, where the child ingested the filter and began to vomit and cough up blood, according to the Bradenton Herald.

Johnson took the child to the hospital.

According to the Bradenton Herald: “After speaking with the doctor who removed the object, I learned that had the screen turned only slightly more inside the baby’s throat, it could have resulted in a fatality,” writes the officer who prepared the report.
