Bradenton OZK Bank Branch Robbed
Police were searching for a middle-aged bank robber who struck a Bradenton OZK branch on Wednesday.

BRADENTON, FL -- Police were searching for a middle-aged bank robber who struck a Bradenton OZK branch on Wednesday. The robbery occurred around noon at the branch located at 6000 State Road 70 E, according to the Manatee Sheriff's Office.
"The suspect entered the bank and handed the teller a note implying he had a gun," said a spokesperson for the sheriff's office. "No weapon was seen."
The bandit demanded money from the teller and then fled.

"The suspect exited the bank and was last seen heading east on State Road 70, but possibly went south," the sheriff's office explained around 2 p.m. "The suspect has not been located at this time."
The bandit was described as a white man in his 50s with medium brownish gray hair pulled into a ponytail. He was wearing a black jacket with blue jeans and glasses.
