Prowler Arrest After Vehicle Break-ins
A 19-year-old Bradenton man was arrested Monday by deputies investigating multiple vehicle break-ins.

Ryan Price, 19, faces charges of loitering and prowling, after deputies observed him approaching vehicles that had just been burglarized, according to a press release.
Deputies from the Manatee County Sheriff's Office said that they had responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the GreyHawk subdivision, off Route 64, at around 4:30 a.m. Monday.
Price has been seen by a security guard in the East Manatee subdivision running away from the vehicle when he saw the guard, according to the press release. As deputies observed the vehicle, they saw Price return.

According to the press release:
"Deputies stayed in the area and conducted surveillance on the vehicle and a short moment later the suspect was seen getting into the suspect vehicle. Deputies stopped the vehicle and the suspect refused to comply with their direction. Deputies also searched the area for possible burglaries and found several vehicles burglarized and personal items missing."

Upon further investigation, deputies determined that several vehicles there had been burglarized with items takes.
According to the press release, deputies had insufficient evidence to charge Price with the burglaries. However, he was arrested on the prowling and loitering charges.
Deputies checked the area but could not find the suspect. As they watched the car, Price returned and was stopped. During a subsequent search of the area, deputies found that several vehicles had been burglarized and personal items taken, according to the news release.
