Riders Thrown From ‘Spooked’ Horses During Beach Tour: Watch
Seven riders were thrown from "spooked" horses during a Saturday morning beach ride along Palma Sola Causeway, Bradenton police said.

BRADENTON, FL — Seven riders were thrown from “spooked” horses during a Saturday morning beach ride on the Palma Sola Causeway, according to a Bradenton Police Department news release. (Watch a video from the incident below.)
Officers responded to a report of horses running east along the causeway around 11 a.m.
They found that the horses, owned by Carousel Sea Horses, were starting a beach ride near the 8400 block of Manatee Avenue W. when the guide’s horse was “spooked” and the other horses became frightened, as well, police said.

All riders were thrown from or jumped off their horses, the agency said.

EMS brought two riders to a local hospital for possible beck and arm injuries, police said.
Not long after this, the horses were corralled behind a home in the 7800 block of Manatee Avenue W. and secured in the company’s trailer.
