Robbery Attempt At Bradenton Park Leads To Arrests

Two people face attempted robbery charges following a Monday night robbery attempt at Manatee Palms Park.

BRADENTON, FL — An alleged robbery attempt at Manatee Palms Park led to the arrest of two men Monday night when their would-be victim was able to get away and call 911.

According to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office, a man was in the 6510 First Ave. E. park around 7 p.m. July 17 when he was approached by two others. One of the men reportedly told the victim to “give us everything you got,” according to an email from the sheriff’s office. The man then indicated the other was armed, but the victim did not see a gun, authorities noted.
