'Robbery by Sudden Snatching' Reported to Deputies
The victim told deputies that a suspect grabbed cash out of her hand and ran off.
The Manatee County Sheriff's Office is reporting that a guest at the Siesta Inn and Suites summoned deputies after she was approached by an unnamed suspect who said he needed money to go to the doctor.
According to a press release from the Manatee County Sheriff's Office, the woman started to take out some cash, when the suspect suddenly snatched the money from her hand and ran off.
Deputies said that the "Robbery by Sudden Snatching" took place at the Siesta Inn and Suites, 2303 1st St.
