Romney To Campaign At St. Pete Pier Friday

Gov. Mitt Romney will make a campaign stop at the St. Petersburg Pier Friday at 5:45 p.m.

GOP presidential nominee Gov. Mitt Romney will make a campaign stop in St. Pete Friday at the St. Petersburg Pier. 

According to the Romney camp, doors will open at 3:45 p.m. with the event beginning at 5:45 p.m. The event will take place at the Pier Park, located at 550 2nd Avenue NE St., St. Petersburg.

All attendees, according to a news release, will go through airport-like security and should bring as few personal items as possible. No bags, sharp objects, umbrellas, liquids, or signs will be allowed in the venue. Cameras are permitted.

To enter, you must have a ticket. Tickets are free, to get one, just RSVP online. You may register up to eight people at a time.

Gov. Romney's last nearby campaign stop was at the Ringling Museum in Sarasota last month.  Florida is a key state in this year's election. This stop will come on the heels of tonight's presidential debate.
