SCF’s 9/11 Memorial Ceremony to Pay Tribute to the Lives Lost

The community is invited to SCF's annual 9/11 Memorial Ceremony in remembrance of the lives lost during the September 11, 2001, attacks.

State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota's Veteran Services office and Student Veterans of America club will host the college’s annual 9/11 Memorial Ceremony in remembrance of the lives lost during the September 11, 2001, attacks.

The ceremony events will be held from 8:30-9:15 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, at SCF Venice, 8000 S. Tamiami Trail (southeast parking lot flagpoles), and from 9-9:45 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W. (south entrance flagpole on 60th Ave. W., near the Library and Learning Center, Building 3). SCF President Tommy Gregory, J.D., a retired U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel, will serve as the guest speaker and make remarks at SCF Bradenton.
