
Authorities are searching for two men they say called a locksmith, then robbed him of his cash and tools while he was trying to get into their vehicle, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office
According to the report, the locksmith responded to the back of the parking lot at Fountain Lake Apartments, located off of U.S. 41 in Bradenton.
He met the two men that had called him and was getting his tools so he could open the vehicle when a Hispanic male pulled out a chrome, 9 mm, Beretta and demanded his money; the locksmith handed over about $1,400 cash, a report states.

At the same time, a Caucasian suspect reportedly opened the trunk of the locksmith’s vehicle, and stole about $500 worth of tools.
The white male is described as weighing around 180 pounds while the Hispanic male is said to weigh around 160 pounds, both men were around ages 25-30 years old.
