Hugh Culverhouse donated $25,000 while Michael Norris gave $12,500.     The Sheriff's Office will use the Culverhouse donation to purchase ballistic vests for active shooter situations and the Norris donation will be used for trauma kits.    Mr. Culverhouse is a former federal prosecutor and is a longtime supporter of the Manatee County Sheriff's Office. Mr. Culverhouse would like to offer a challenge for others to match his donation of up to $25,000.     The Sheriff's Office thanks Mr. Culverhouse and Mr. Norris for their tremendous generosity.
