Suspect In Deadly Hit-And-Run Sought In Manatee County: FL Troopers
After being hit by a vehicle that left the scene, a pedestrian was run over by an SUV and motorcycle, Florida Highway Patrol said.
MANATEE COUNTY, FL — Investigators are looking for the suspect in a deadly hit-and-run crash involving three vehicles early Friday morning, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.
A vehicle, possibly a white Nissan of an unknown model, was traveling south on U.S. 301 near 44th Avenue N. when it hit a pedestrian around 2:40 a.m.
After the crash, the driver left the scene.

The pedestrian, who hasn’t been identified yet, was pronounced dead at the scene, FHP said.
An SUV and motorcycle drove over the victim, who was on the road, after the crash. Both drivers remained at the scene, FHP said.
