Three Teenagers Injured When Someone Shot Into Vehicle

The teens were driving in west Bradenton just after midnight when someone shot through the rear window of their vehicle.

Three teenagers drove themselves to Manatee Memorial  Hospital early this morning after someone shot into the rear window of the car they were in, injuring all three, according to a report from the Manatee County Sheriff.

The trio was traveling west in the 600 block of 58th Avenue Drive West when someone began firing at the rear of their vehicle, according to the sheriff's report.

The 19-year-old driver was hit in the left elbow and left shoulder.  The backseat passenger, who is 18, had cuts to his back which seem to have been caused by shattered glass from the rear windshield.  The front seat passenger, also 19, was hit on the lower left side of the back of his head, and his left hand.
